From coaching experience to your session

Coaching experience, in your pocket.

This tool brings together the expertise of Old Skullz and its coaches: real situations, exercises tried in practice and session feedback used to refine the plans. Max designed and validated this approach to address the needs of skateboarders and other athletes as closely as possible.

Your profile and check-in guide the session. A coach's eye remains valuable for observing a movement and adjusting it with you.

How it works

A new session. Progress you can follow.

Who designed and validated this tool?

Max Cherarak, a skateboarding and mental performance coach with over 20 years of experience, designed and validated the approach. The plans draw on the expertise of Old Skullz and its coaches, practical experience and session feedback. This educational validation is not medical validation and does not guarantee the same results for everyone.

Can I use the tool in another language?

Choose Français, English or Español at the top of the page. The questionnaire, instructions, PDF and request emails use your chosen language. Your own notes stay as you wrote them. Linked articles and videos may be in French.

What makes each session different?

The tool combines your goal, specific focus, intention and learning preferences with your level, equipment and check-in. It favours exercises you have seen least in your last ten sessions. Changing only the order, name or duration does not count as a new session. Some exercises return to help you consolidate. If you have used every suitable combination, the tool tells you and suggests changing your goal.

How do my reviews shape the plan?

After the session, record the difficulty, effort and how you felt. Two easy reviews on the same goal may lead to a little more work. A difficult or tiring session makes the next one lighter. You must always confirm your technical skills and experience with weights yourself; they are never assumed automatically.

What's the difference between a movement and a trick?

Pushing, braking and foot placement are technical movements. An ollie or kickflip is a trick made up of several coordinated movements. The plan tells you whether you are working on a specific movement, a named trick or a sequence of tricks you already know.

Where is my session log saved?

On this device, in this browser, if you enable saving. You can open and download the last 50 sessions. Older combinations remain recorded to avoid duplicates. Clearing browser data or deleting your profile erases this history. Without a saved log, duplicates are avoided only during the current visit.

Can I use it offline at the skatepark?

Download your PDF before leaving: your instructions, timings, cues and review remain readable offline. Resource links need a connection. When you return, open your log and complete your review to adapt what comes next.

What if I'm injured?

The injury profile focuses on visualisation and mental skills. It does not test your injury or replace medical care. If a healthcare professional has already given you a specific plan of permitted movements, you can set aside time to follow it. The tool adds no exercises or weights to that plan. You can talk to Max about mental support during this period.

What about advanced skaters?

You can work on the consistency of a trick you already practise, your lines, or physical and mental preparation. This tool does not replace a coach for learning a complex trick, a new drop-in or heavy lifting. Keep stretches gentle; never push through pain.
